Abstract:
To provide an encoder diagnostic system of an elevator and a diagnostic method capable of suppressing an input/output port occupancy and functional restrictions, and capable of detecting an abnormality or a failure of two-lines encoders.SOLUTION: An encoder diagnostic system of an elevator according to the present invention comprises a first encoder 16a and a second encoder 16b arranged in the rotary part of the elevator, a first diagnostic part 21a connected to the first encoder, and a second diagnostic part 21b connected to the second encoder. The encoder diagnostic system of the elevator has a first determination part 23a and a second determination part 23b which detect the difference between the rotation detection signal of the own line encoder and the rotation detection signal of the other line encoder and which determine that it is abnormal if the difference exceeds a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
