Abstract:
To suppress deterioration of a fuel cell stack.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system is equipped with a power storage device charged with regenerative electric power of a motor generator, a fuel cell stack electrically connected with the motor generator and the power storage device, and a FCECU. The FCECU estimates the charging rate of the power storage device. The FCECU switches between a power generation state transiting gradually so that the lower the charging rate of the power storage device is, the smaller the power generation amount of the fuel cell stack is, and a power generation stop state transiting from the power generation state when the charging rate of the power storage device becomes or goes above a low output changeover threshold level. The FCECU calculates mechanical energy from the weight of a load, the weight of an industrial vehicle, the height of current position of the industrial vehicle, and the speed of the industrial vehicle. The lower the mechanical energy is, the higher low output changeover threshold level the FCECU sets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
