Abstract:
To provide a conveying mechanism of an edge face conveying system capable of reducing a contact area with a rear face of a substrate.SOLUTION: A conveying mechanism 10 of an edge face conveying system for horizontally conveying a tabular substrate includes a plurality of conveying rollers 8 arranged along a conveying direction of a substrate 2 at both left and right ends of the conveying direction of the substrate to support and convey the substrate, and a plurality of support means 3 positioned between the conveying rollers arranged at the left side end and the right side end along the conveying direction of the substrate to support the substrate by points; and the support means are disposed vertically on a conveyor belt 1 for moving the support means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
