Abstract:
To reduce acceleration shock caused by turning back in reciprocation of a piston, in an actuator having the reciprocable piston.SOLUTION: An actuator 38C includes: a cylinder 50 held between a fixed plate 70 fixed to an end face at the other side of a support plate 34C with a servo motor 32C and a bearing housing 52; a ball screw shaft 66 projecting into the cylinder 50 through a through hole of the fixed plate 70 at one end; a slide block 62 engaged with one end of the ball screw shaft 66 in the cylinder 50; a cylindrical piston 54 connected to an end portion of the slide block 62 and reciprocably disposed in the cylinder 50; bearing units 56AF, 56BF for linear motion, disposed inside of the bearing housing 52 and movably supporting the piston 54; and bearing units 64A, 64B for linear motion, disposed in the cylinder 50 and movably supporting the slide block 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
