Abstract:
To provide a compact optical device including an operation ring having excellent operability and an imaging apparatus using the optical device.SOLUTION: The optical device includes an optical system which has an optical element, a zoom operation ring 35 which is rotated to move the optical element, a rear side fixed barrel 21 which rotatably supports the zoom operation ring 35, and an energizing rubber 39. A passage hole 35c through which the energizing rubber 39 can pass is provided in the zoom operation ring 35. The rear side fixed barrel 21 includes a fixed barrel front engagement diameter part 21a and a fixed barrel rear engagement diameter part 21b which support the zoom operation ring 35, and a rubber storage part 21c which holds the energizing rubber 39. The passage hole 35c is located between the fixed barrel front engagement diameter part 21a and the fixed barrel rear engagement diameter part 21b in the optical axis direction of the optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
