Abstract:

To provide a control device for a vehicle capable of properly suppressing occurrence of belt slip.SOLUTION: A target clutch torque capacity in engagement of a forward clutch 52, and a target belt torque capacity of a belt 35 of a continuously variable transmission mechanism 22 are respectively determined to an input torque inputted to an input shaft 21 of a CVT 9 from an engine 2 side. The target clutch torque capacity is determined to a value larger than the input torque. The target belt torque capacity is determined to a value larger than the target clutch torque capacity. Further a lower limit guard value is determined to the input torque by adding a prescribed value to the target clutch torque capacity. The target belt torque capacity is corrected to a value more than the lower limit guard value so that it does not fall below the lower limit guard value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
