Abstract:
To suppress lateral leakage by absorbing body liquids in a side part of an absorbent core in an absorbent article used by attaching to a wearing article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article (1) includes an absorbent core (31) and a central compression part (81). The absorbent core has a pair of absorption bulge parts (34) arranged on a side part of the absorbent core in a width direction in a crotch region and an absorption thin part (32) that is thinner than the absorption bulge part. The absorption thin part is arranged at least in a central region (R11) sandwiched between the pair of the absorption bulge parts in the width direction. The absorbent core has a bulge central region (S34) positioned in the center of three regions obtained by trisecting the crotch region in a longitudinal direction and in the center of three regions obtained by trisecting the absorption bulge part in the width direction. The compression part has a first compression region (811) provided in a width extending region (R41) extending to the inside in the width direction from the bulge central region and a second compression region (812) provided in a longitudinal extending region (R42) extending to the outside in the longitudinal direction from the bulge central region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
