Abstract:
To provide a safety device which prevents a fuel from being cut off when a gas appliance is inclined and unfailingly cuts off the fuel when the gas appliance is overturned, and to provide a gas appliance having the safety device.SOLUTION: A safety device has: a linear passage in which both ends are open; a movable body 22 disposed in the passage so as to be movable along an axis of the passage; a centering part 24 which holds the movable body in a center of an interior of the passage as seen in a direction orthogonal to an axial direction; and a sealing part 26 which is provided at a position located on the axis of the interior of the passage and at the one end side of the interior of the passage. The sealing part blocks one end of the passage along with the movable body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
