Abstract:
To detect a dangerous driving factor outside of an imaging range of a camera.SOLUTION: A driver monitoring device 1 is configured by comprising: an imaging unit 10 which is mounted on a vehicle 70 and acquires an image including a face part 101 of a driver 100 of the vehicle 70; and a control unit 20 including specific driving detection sections 21 and 23 each detecting a specific driving state of the driver 100 based on the image captured by the imaging unit 10. The control unit 20 detects the face part 101 of the driver 100 from the captured image and detects the specific driving state from luminance distribution of the face part 101. Thus, a dangerous driving factor outside of an imaging range of a camera that is the imaging unit 10, is detectable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
