Abstract:
To properly activate a reduction catalyst while suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control system 100 comprises: an engine 2; a heater 3 with a DOC coated with an oxidation catalyst; a heater 4 with an SCR arranged at a downstream side rather than the heater 3 with the DOC in an exhaust pipe 12, and coated with an SCR catalyst for reducing NOx contained in exhaust gas; and a controller 11 for performing prescribed control on the basis of a temperature of the oxidation catalyst and a temperature of the SCR catalyst. The controller 11 starts the heater 3 with the DOC and the heater 4 with the SCR according to the establishment of a prescribed excess-heating start condition, stops the heater 3 with the DOC and the heater 4 with the SCR when the temperature of the oxidation catalyst becomes higher than a prescribed first threshold, and the temperature of the SCR catalyst becomes higher than a prescribed second threshold due to operations of the heater 3 with the DOC and the heater 4 with the SCR, and starts the engine 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
