Abstract:
To provide a centrifugal pump which is improved in passive magnetic stabilization with respect to, in particular, a displacement in an axial direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a fluid-transporting centrifugal pump having a pump housing (2) arranged with a rotor (3) therein for transporting fluid, and a stator (4) forming an electromagnetic rotation drive unit for rotating the rotor (3) around an axial direction (A) together with the rotor (3). The stator (4) is designed as a bearing/drive stator which can magnetically drive the rotor (3) in a non-contact manner, and can magnetically float the rotor (3) with respect to the stator (4) in a non-contact manner. The rotor (3) is passively magnetically floated in the axial direction (A), and actively magnetically floated within a plane in a radial direction vertical to the axial direction (A).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
