Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a ceramic electronic components capable of forming an external electrode having sufficient density in a plurality of regions without significantly damaging a previously formed external electrode.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a ceramic electronic component includes the steps of forming a first electrode layer by baking a first electrode paste including metal powder in a first region of a ceramic body at first temperature, forming a second electrode layer by baking a second electrode paste including metal powder of the same type as the above-described metal powder in a second region which is a region different from the first region of the ceramic element at second temperature lower than the first temperature, and densifying a surface layer portion of the second electrode layer by subjecting the surface of the second electrode layer to physical impact treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
