Abstract:
To provide a new cancer treatment device effective in treatment of cancer.SOLUTION: In a cancer treatment device 30, a treatment tool 32 is introduced to the vicinity of an affected part via a working channel of an endoscope. A deep ultraviolet LED 34 is arranged at a distal end 40 of the treatment tool 32, and emits deep ultraviolet rays to be applied to the affected part. An X-ray opaque marker 44 is arranged the distal end of the treatment tool. A control part 36 controls light emission of the deep ultraviolet LED. The control part 36 is arranged at a proximal end 42 of the treatment tool 32. A lead wire 38 connecting the deep ultraviolet LED 34 and the control part 36 is arranged inside the treatment tool 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
