Abstract:
To provide a gasket composition for obtaining a gasket used for an electrolytic cell in an ion exchange membrane method having a good chemical resistance while keeping good compression set resistance.SOLUTION: In a gasket composition for an electrolytic cell, 5 to 40 pts.mass of a brominated butyl rubber serving as a second component is blended in 100 pts.mass of an ethylene propylene rubber.
