Abstract:
To suppress seizure damage by discharging an oil increased in temperature during an operation, to the external, in a slide bearing for supporting a crank shaft of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A semi-cylindrical half bearing for a slide bearing is provided. The half bearing has at least one axial groove formed on an inner peripheral face, and the axial groove has a smooth groove surface retreating to a radial outer side from the inner peripheral face. The half bearing further has a plurality of axial fine grooves and a plurality of circumferential fine grooves formed in a manner of retreating from a groove surface of the axial groove to a radial outer side, and the plurality of circumferential fine grooves and the plurality of axial fine grooves are respectively extended in a circumferential direction and an axial direction to cross each other. A depth of the axial fine grooves from the groove surface is deeper than a depth of the circumferential fine grooves from the groove surface, and a width of the axial fine grooves on the groove surface is wider than a width of the circumferential fine grooves on the groove surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
