Abstract:
To provide a metal workpiece manufacturing method capable of simplifying equipment without increasing the number of steps.SOLUTION: A metal workpiece manufacturing method includes: a first drawing step S101; a second drawing step S102 of pressing a central part of the bottom of a bottomed cylindrical metal material 9 by a protrusion 22 to push the metal material 9 into a second recess 32 while deforming the metal material 9 along the shape of the second recess 32; a thickening step S103 of increasing the thickness of the metal material 9 in a space 8 between the bottom of a main body 21 and the bottom of a first recess 31 while moving a punch 2 toward a die 3 and moving the protrusion 22 in the second recess 32 in a state where an open end 91 of the metal material 9 and a step forming portion 23 are engaged with each other; and an extruding step of pressing the thickened portion of the metal material 9 by the main body 21 to extrude a part of the thickened portion into the second recess 32 while moving the protrusion 22 in the second recess 32 in a state where the open end 91 and the step forming portion 23 are engaged with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
