Abstract:
To provide a separation method of a carbon hydride which is improved so as to reduce the power of a compressor, and can collect ethane or propane including the collection of cold heat.SOLUTION: In a separation method of a carbon hydride for separating a residual gas in which methane or ethane is enriched, and a heavy residual amount in which a further-lower volatile carbon hydride is enriched by using a distillation tower, a) a material gas is cooled by using the residual gas and a different refrigerant, partially condensed, and after that, gas-liquid separated; b) liquid which is obtained from a process a is decompressed, and supplied to the distillation tower; c) a part or the whole of a gas obtained from the process a is expanded by an expander, partially condensed, and after that, gas-liquid separated; d) liquid which is obtained from a process c is supplied to the distillation tower after using it as the different refrigerant in the process a; e) a part or the whole of a gas obtained from the process c is supplied to the distillation tower; and f) the residual gas is obtained from a tower apex of the distillation tower, and the heavy residual amount is obtained from a tower bottom part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
