Abstract:
To obtain a vehicle muffling device and a vehicle muffling method which allow occupants to hear sounds other than noise while muting the noise.SOLUTION: A vehicle muffling device 10 includes: a first sound signal acquisition unit 50 which acquires a noise signal near the head of an occupant seated in a seat; a control sound generation unit 58 which generates a control sound in opposite phase to the obtained noise signal by the first sound signal acquisition unit 50; a second sound signal acquisition unit 52 which acquires a sound signal of a predetermined frequency different from the noise signal; an output unit 60 which adds and outputs the sound signal acquired by the second sound signal acquisition unit 52 to the control sound generated by the control sound generation unit 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
