Abstract:
To provide a technology advantageous to more accurately detect the presence/absence of irradiation with radiation.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging device includes: a plurality of pixel groups and a plurality of bias sources, the respective pixel groups corresponding to the bias sources on one-to-one basis; a drive circuit; and a detection unit. The pixel groups are constituted by pixels that include a conversion element for converting radiation to electric charge and a switch element for connecting the conversion element to a signal line. The bias sources supply bias potential to conversion elements of the pixels via bias lines. The drive circuit controls switch elements of the pixels. The detection unit acquires first signal values representing current flowing through a bias line connected to a pixel group including a pixel including a switch element turned on by the drive circuit and second signal values representing current flowing through a bias line connected to a pixel group whose switch elements are in an off state so that at least some of timings at which the first signal values are sampled overlap with timings at which the second signal values are sampled; and, on the basis of the first signal values and the second signal values, determines the presence/absence of irradiation with radiation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
