To suppress gap corrosion of a carbon steel coated with a sea water-resistant stainless steel.SOLUTION: A corrosion-resistant structure 1, which is located at a splash tidal zone part of an on-water structure, comprises a cylindrical or columnar first component 11 made of carbon steel, and a cylindrical second component 12 made of sea water-resistant stainless steel. The second component 12 coats an outside surface of the first component 11 and is joined to the first component 11 at a splash tidal zone part of the first component 11. A target joint, which is at least one of a joint between the first component 11 and the second component 12 (that is, first joint 21) and a joint between the second components 12 (that is, second component 12), is formed by friction stir welding. Thus, it is possible to suppress formation of a gap in the target joint compared to joining by laser welding, plasma welding and so on. As a result, gap corrosion of the first component 11 made of carbon steel coated with the component 12 made of sea water-resistant stainless steel can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
