Abstract:
To provide a lubricating oil composition that has low abrasion, seizure resistance of a differential part and scoring resistance.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil composition includes (A) a lubricating base oil, (B) a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent, (C) a phosphorus-based extreme pressure agent and (D) an ashless dispersant. The lubricating oil composition is characterized in that the sulfur-based extreme pressure agent (B) includes a thiadiazole having two or more sulfur atoms and that the lubricating oil composition includes, as the phosphorus-based extreme pressure agent (C), at least one kind selected from (C1) a phosphonate ester oligomer represented by formula (1) as given below and (C2) a phosphonate ester, and has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 2 to 10 mm2/s. (In formula (1), R's are each independently a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon group; and n is an integer of 2 to 10).SELECTED DRAWING: None
