Abstract:
To reduce the problems caused by interference between a moving member provided so as to be movable in a vertical direction and a recording material, compared to the case not having the structure of restricting the downward movement of the moving member provided so as to be movable in the vertical direction.SOLUTION: There is provided a recording material transfer device, including: a suction unit that sucks a recording material of a recording material bundle from above, the suction unit having a moving member that is pressed from below by the recording material that moves upward with suction and moves upward, and configured to move in a direction that intersects a vertical direction, and move the sucked recording material in an intersecting direction, in which as a movement in the intersecting direction, at least a part of the moving members reaches the outside of the outer peripheral edge of the recording material bundle; and regulatory means for regulating the downward movement of a part of the moving member that has reached the outside of the outer peripheral edge and is not supported from below by the recording material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
