Abstract:
To provide a method, a device, and a system for displaying a video stream of a scene captured by a monitoring camera on a display of a client device remote from the monitoring camera.SOLUTION: In a method 400, a video stream is received at a client device (S402), and information indicating the on/off status of an IR illuminator that illuminates a scene captured by a monitoring camera is received at the client device (S404). A display setting is set to be different depending on whether the on/off status of the received IR illuminator is on or off (S406), and the video stream is displayed on the display using the set display setting (S408).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
