Abstract:
To provide an improved method for ensuring optimal charging of a hearing device in a charger.SOLUTION: A method includes: obtaining a digital scan of a user's ear shape; creating a digital three-dimensional hearing device model based on the digital scan of the user's ear shape; and providing a digital three-dimensional charger model and a generic digital three-dimensional insert model. The position of a transmitter charging element is configured to be added to the digital three-dimensional charger model. A digital cavity configured to receive a hearing device is created in the generic digital three-dimensional insert model based on the digital three-dimensional hearing device model to thereby obtain a custom digital three-dimensional insert model. Alignment between a receiver charging element in the digital three-dimensional hearing device model and the transmitter charging element in the three-dimensional charger model is ensured and thereby coupling between the receiver charging element and the transmitter charging element is maximized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
