Abstract:
To provide a distortion detection sensor and a power transmission device that can accurately detect distortion of a circular body and are unlikely to cause disconnection.SOLUTION: A substrate 41 comprises a conductor layer L1 including arc-shaped or ring-shaped resistance wire patterns R1 and R2 and a reinforcing layer 49. The resistance wire patterns R1 and R2 have a plurality of resistance wires r1 and r2 and a plurality of folded portions r11 and r12, respectively. The plurality of resistance wires r1 and r2 extend in a radial direction of a circular body or extend so as to be inclined at a certain angle toward one side of the circular body in the circumferential direction with respect to the radial direction. The plurality of folded portions r11 and r12 connect the respective ends of the plurality of resistance wires r1 and r2. The plurality of resistance wires r1 and r2 are aligned at equal intervals in the circumferential direction and the ends of circumferentially adjacent resistance wires are connected by the folded portions alternately at both sides of the resistance wire in the radial direction, so that the resistance wires as a whole are connected in series. When the circular body is viewed in the axial direction, the reinforcing layer 49 is positioned at an area that overlaps the folded portions r11 and r12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
