Abstract:
To smoothly discharge excavation muck from a center of a front of a cutter head to a rear face chamber.SOLUTION: A center cutter chamber 10 is defined between a center cutter mounting port M20 of a front plate M171 and a rear plate M172. Muddy water is sent to a front side of a cutter head M11 between the cutter head M11, the center cutter chamber 10 and a machine body M10. Muck excavated by a center cutter 1 are taken into the center cutter chamber 10 together with muddy water through the center cutter mounting port M20. A pump-driven excavation muck lead-out path 5 for feeding from the center cutter chamber 10 to a face chamber S is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
