Abstract:
To provide a system and a method that control a power system of a vehicle when the vehicle is turned off.SOLUTION: A system includes an ignition switch, a power source, a power outlet, and an electronic control unit communicatively coupled to the ignition switch. The electronic control unit determines that the ignition switch is set to an off state, determines whether a charging state of an electronic device coupled to the power outlet is less than a target charging state, and in response to a determination that the ignition switch is set to the off state and a determination that the charging state is less than the target charging state, provides the electronic device with power through the power outlet from the power source until the charging state of the electronic device reaches the target charging state while the ignition switch is set to the off state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
