Abstract:
To provide a ceramic electronic component capable of suppressing cracks.SOLUTION: A ceramic electronic component (a laminated ceramic capacitor) includes: a laminated chip comprising a plurality of laminated dielectric layers and a plurality of internal electrode layers, and having a first main surface (an upper surface) and a second main surface (a lower surface) that are opposed to each other in a lamination direction and have a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view; and a plurality of external electrodes 20a to 20d that are formed from the first main surface to the second main surface at each corner section of a substantially rectangular shape, being separated from each other, being connected to part of the plurality of internal electrode layers, and having a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view. On at least one of the first main surface and the second main surface, at least any of the plurality of external electrodes includes an extended portions 20a1 and 20a2 extending along a substantially rectangular side of one surface with respect to at least one of the two adjacent external electrodes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
