Abstract:
To provide a method for exchanging a cutter bit of a shield excavator and the shield excavator, which can reduce the excavation amount of frozen soil and shorten the replacement work time, thereby improving work safety.SOLUTION: A method for exchanging a cutter bit 23 mounted on a cutter head 20 of a shield excavator 60 in the ground comprises: a freezing step of freezing the ground to create frozen soil F; a water supply stop step of positioning the cutter head 20 in the frozen soil F and freezing a water supply formed at an interface between a side surface of the shield excavator 60 behind the cutter head 20 and the frozen soil F by freezing means 50 to stop the water; a filling step of filling at least a part of a front surface of the cutter head 20 with a non-freezing mud material D; and an excavation replacement step of excavating a part of the frozen soil F on the front surface of the cutter head 20 to form a work space and replacing the cutter bit 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
