Abstract:
To reduce a space synthesis antenna gain on condition that the same detection performance is secured.SOLUTION: A radar device performs: repetitively generating a transmission pulse signal by diffusion modulation signals which are mutually different kinds for each element antenna of an array antenna, so as to simultaneously transmit the signals to a space from a plurality of element antennas; receiving reflection signals from a target by the plurality of element antennas so as to wave-detect IQ signals; pulse-compressing the IQ signals for each element antenna with whole kinds of pulse compression coefficients corresponding to whole kinds of diffusion modulation; multiplying pulse compression results of whole kinds with respect to each one of the plurality of element antennas by transmission beam weights and reception beam weights of whole beam positions corresponding to each one of the element antennas, so as to form transmission beams and reception beams; and integrating signals which become transmission/reception antenna gain of the whole positions for each PRI by the transmission beams and the reception beams, so as to detect a target.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
