Abstract:
To provide a configuration that can prevent the inside of a conveyance path from being clogged with waste toner when a conveyance direction of the waste toner is changed at a turning unit in the conveyance direction of the waste toner.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has: a first conveying member 23 that conveys waste toner in a first direction; a second conveying member 24 that conveys the waste toner conveyed by the first conveying member 23 in a second direction opposite to the first direction; and a waste toner conveying unit 26 that accommodates the first and second conveying members 23 and 24, the waste toner conveying unit 26 including a turning unit 25 that changes a conveyance direction of the toner from the first direction in the second direction, and a discharge unit 18a that discharges the toner conveyed by the second conveying member to the outside of the waste toner conveying unit. The turning unit 25 is provided with an inclined surface inclined with respect to the first direction that is in contact with the toner conveyed in the first direction by the first conveying member 23 to change the conveyance direction of the toner in a third direction intersecting with the first direction to be directed to the second conveying member 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
