Abstract:
To provide a medical control device and a medical observation system capable of minutely controlling the distribution of the light quantity of illumination light to irradiate a subject therewith.SOLUTION: A medical observation system comprises: an irradiation image generation unit which generates an irradiation image expressed by irradiation with illumination light, on the basis of the distribution of brightness of an image captured by an imaging unit; and a control unit which, on the basis of the illumination image and the rotation angle around the longitudinal axis of an optical member with respect to the imaging unit, of the optical member connected rotatably to the imaging unit, controls generation of a projected image by the image generation unit provided in the optical member and projection of the projected image onto the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
