To provide a porous filter hardly causing clogging and having excellent gas permeability and moisture permeability and high intensity and to provide a production method of the porous filter.SOLUTION: In a porous filter including a porous resin layer and a base material impregnated into the porous resin layer, the surface roughness Ra of one side of the porous filter is 0.5 μm or less and the surface roughness Ra of the other side of the porous filter is 1 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
