Abstract:
To provide an additional rack capable of being easily installed on an upper stage of an existing self-supporting rack.SOLUTION: The additional rack comprises: frame support pillars 1a arranged along respective support pillars of an existing self-standing rack 2; a plurality of shelf plate installing beams 3 attached between two frame support pillars 1a adjoining in a rack depth direction out of the frame support pillars 1a; a plurality of frame horizontal members 4 attached between two frame support pillars 1a adjoining in the rack depth direction; and a plurality of shelf plates 5 arranged between two shelf plate installing beams 3 adjoining in the rack depth direction at an upper part of the self-standing rack 2. The frame support pillar 1a has an approximately U-like shape in a cross sectional shape vertical to a longitudinal direction. A plurality of rectangular engaging holes 1f for assembling the shelf plate installing beam 3 and the frame horizontal member 4 are arranged at a surface 1c where a facing surface 1b is opened at the cross section and two surfaces 1d, 1e crossing to the surface in the longitudinal direction, respectively. The shelf plate installing beam 3 and the frame horizontal member 4 comprise receiving base parts 3a, 4a for installing the shelf plate 5, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
