Abstract:
To provide a knock-type writing utensil that can relax shock which is applied to a refill when switching a writing state into a non-writing state, with a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A knock-type writing utensil 1 comprises a barrel 2, a refill 3 arranged in the barrel 2, a spring 4 for energizing the refill 3 rearward, an operation part 20 which is pressed forward against energizing force of the spring 4 at the time of knocking operation and a main rotator 30, which further comprises: a decelerating rotator 40 which moves in a longitudinal direction together with the refill 3 resulting from switching between a writing state and a non-writing state which is performed by engagement or disengagement of the main rotator 30 with or from an engagement portion provided at the barrel 2 side; and a slope 13 on which the decelerating rotator 40 is rotated around a center shaft line in cooperation with the decelerating rotator 40 during rearward movement of the refill 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
