Abstract:
To reduce situation which cannot enter into automatic travel stop and a target route due to behavior of other vehicles in non-lane interval such as a toll gate.SOLUTION: A travel control device (10) of a vehicle, which comprises an environment state estimation part (11) which contains function recognizing other vehicle of own vehicle circumference and a runway of an own vehicle frontward direction, a route generation part (12) which generates a target route on the basis of it and a vehicle control part (13) which performs speed control and steering control to track the own vehicle on the target route, includes function which travels to track the route by targeting front road structure if position of the own vehicle is in specific section containing non-lane intervals (60, 62) of a toll gate (6) and function which determines whether or not to continue to travel to track the route if the other vehicle is recognized within prescribed area of the own vehicle circumference in this case. It is configured so as to alter the prescribed area as reference of its determination to a second prescribed areas (ZF', ZR') narrower than the prescribed areas (ZF, ZR) when position of the own vehicle is in general intervals (5, 5') except for the specific interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
