Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device capable of: executing control processing so that a CPU satisfy time constraints while using power saving means of the CPU; and achieving both safety and power saving of an automatic operation system.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device comprises: a power saving execution determination section 112 which determines whether an operation mode needs to be shifted from a normal mode to a power saving mode or power saving mode needs to be cancelled on the basis of predetermined power saving conditions; and a power saving execution section 113 which executes power saving control of a CPU when the operation mode is determined to be shifted to the power saving mode or terminates power saving control of the CPU when the power saving mode is determined to be canceled. The power saving execution determination section 112: has a plurality of power-saving conditions; determines to shift the operation mode to the power saving mode when all of the plurality of power-saving conditions are met; and determines to cancel the power saving mode when at least some of the power saving conditions are not met.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
