Abstract:
To provide a seat slide device configured so that a high appearance quality and excellent usability can be maintained for a long time.SOLUTION: A seat slide device (91) comprises: a rail (1) extending in a first direction and having a slit (16) extending in the first direction; a slider (2) having a protruding part (22) protruding to outside through the slit (16) and engaging with the rail (1) to be reciprocatable in the first direction; a plurality of flaps (3) that are supported to be turnable between in a lying-on posture of blocking the slit (16) and in a standing-up posture of permitting the moving protruding part (22) to pass and arranged in parallel in the first direction; and a plurality of energizing members (32), provided to correspond to the plurality of flaps (3) respectively, which turn and energize the flaps (3) toward the lying-on posture. The flaps (3) turn from the lying-on posture toward the standing-up posture while contacting the moving protruding part (22) to allow the protruding part (22) to pass therethrough, and release the contacting to return from the standing-up posture to the lying-on posture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
