Abstract:
To provide a water closet that can store a larger amount of washing water in a water storage tank and can suppress generation of abnormal noise due to an air pool, by suppressing air accumulation due to inclination of the water storage tank.SOLUTION: A water closet 1 of the present invention comprises: a toilet bowl body 2; and a tank device 4 for supplying the washing water to the toilet bowl body. The tank device has a water storage tank 10 provided behind the toilet bowl body and above a floor surface, and a water supply part 6a for supplying the washing water to the water storage tank, a volume Va in an upper tank area Ta formed above a central height position P0 that bisects the water storage tank in a vertical direction is larger than a volume Vb in a lower tank area Tb formed below the central height position, in the water storage tank, the water storage tank has a top surface 44b with a height difference, and a highest surface V2 on the upper surface of the water storage tank is provided with a water passage port 10a that allows the washing water supplied from the water supply part to pass through the water storage tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
