Abstract:
To set a determination threshold value in accordance with features of a determination area even when a plurality of determination areas that cover a monitoring object in video captured by an imaging device are provided.SOLUTION: A wide area monitoring device comprises: setting means for providing a plurality of determination areas in which delay of monitoring objects is to be determined for video captured by an imaging device; detection means for detecting monitoring objects in the plurality of determination areas on the basis of the video captured by the imaging device; counting means for counting the number of monitoring objects passing through each of the plurality of determination areas in a certain time; occupancy extraction means for extracting an occupancy of each monitoring object for the plurality of determination areas; critical occupancy extraction means for extracting the occupancy of each monitoring object as a critical occupancy of each determination area when the monitoring object is at a maximum value for each of the plurality of determination areas; and determination means for determining the delay of each monitoring object in the plurality of determination areas on the basis of the critical occupancy of the plurality of determination areas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
