Abstract:
To provide a structure of an ultrasonic transducer, capable of preferably achieving a desire biased directional pattern.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer excites a supersonic wave element fixed to an inner face 521 of a transducer case 5 to discharge a supersonic wave along an exposure direction DD. A biased directional pattern formation part 523 as a concave part in the transducer case is asymmetrically provided to a center axis DA. Thus, a desired biased directional pattern can be preferably achieved while suppressing the change of a structure in the minimum. A deflection angle can be adjusted by an offset amount S and a depth DP.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
