Abstract:
To provide an imaging device that sets a proper frame rate according to a situation when using polarization information to acquire a video.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 acquires a luminance value from output of an imaging element 103 provided for each of pixels of polarization filters 201-204 differing in polarization direction, a polarization computation part 108 uses the obtained luminance value to perform polarization computation processing for recording or simple polarization computation processing, and a video processing part 116 uses a polarization computation result to generate an image. A CPU_109 switches the polarization computation processing that the polarization computation part 108 performs according to a result of detection of a predetermined timing, a mode or a predetermined state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
