Abstract:
To dispense with an O-ring, to easily house a filter, and to improve sealability between a receiver tank and a cap.SOLUTION: In a receiver tank 10 joined to header pipes of a heat exchanger including a plurality of heat exchange tubes disposed between the pair of header pipes, the receiver tank is formed into a cylindrical shape closed at an upper end and opened at a lower end, and includes a cap 40 formed integrally with a filter 30 housed in the receiver tank and closing the opening. The cap includes a male screw portion 41 engaged with a female screw portion 13 formed on an inner peripheral surface of the opening of the receiver tank, a seal portion 43 having a flare outer surface 42 capable of being kept into contact with a flare inner surface 12 formed on an opening-side end portion of the opening, and a tank opening reinforcement portion 44 mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the opening. By screw-engagement of the receiver tank and the cap, the flare inner surface and the flare outer surface are closely kept into contact with each other, and the tank opening reinforcement portion is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the opening for sealing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
