Abstract:
To provide a chromatograph and a sample analysis method, with which it is possible to improve the separation resolution of each component while shortening a measurement time.SOLUTION: A liquid analyzer (HPLC device) comprises: a main passage 23 where a first buffer unit 12, a first switching valve 13, an HPLC column 14, a second switching valve 15 and a second buffer unit 16 are interposed; and a bypass passage 24 for detouring the HPLC column 14. A control unit 32 controls a pump 11, the first switching valve 13 and the second switching valve 15, and switches between a first path where at least a portion of a fluid held by the first buffer unit 12 flows into the second buffer unit 16 through the main passage 23 and a second path where the fluid held by the second buffer unit 16 flows, between the first switching valve 13 and the second switching valve 15 of the main passage 23, into the first buffer unit 12 through the bypass passage 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
