To allow a user to move smoothly in a virtual space.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a moving information acquisition unit which acquires moving information of a point of view of a user in a virtual space; a direction information acquisition unit which acquires direction information corresponding to a direction of the point of view of the user; and a display control unit which controls a display apparatus to present, to the user, an image to be viewed by the user by moving the point of view of the user and changing the direction of the point of view on the basis of at least one of the moving information and the direction information when the user views a position in a peripheral area of an object disposed in the virtual space.
