Abstract:
To respond to a case where other nodes exceed an upper limit of power consumption, even if surplus power is allocated to a node which is likely to exceed the upper limit of power consumption.SOLUTION: A power control system 9 comprises a plurality of computation nodes 3 and a controller 1. For each job, the controller 1 includes a job table 21 which stores a value of available allocated power for execution at the computation node 3, and a system power information 22 which manages surplus power of the system. When a power consumption value of any of the computation nodes 3 among the plurality of computation nodes 3 exceeds the value of the allocated power, the controller 1 identifies the job being executed by the computation node 3 from the job table 21, and allocates the surplus power in stages to the computation node 3 executing the identified job based on the job table 21 and the system power information 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
