Abstract:
To provide a coating applicator 10 that facilitates holding an upright attitude regardless of the type of a base material P.SOLUTION: A coating applicator 10 of the present invention is a device having a suspending/holding tool 1 for suspending and holding a base material P and an application roll 3 for applying paint to the base material P. The coating applicator 10 applies paint to the base material P by transferring the paint on a surface of the coating roll 3 to the base material P being pulled up by the suspending/holding tool 1, and includes an attitude holding tool 6 for holding an upright attitude of the base material P. The attitude holding tool 6 can be provided on a lower side in the pull-up direction of the base material P relative to the coating roll 3. The attitude holding tool 6 may be movable in directions towards and away from the base material P. Frictional resistance of the attitude holding tool 6 may be smaller than that of the coating roll 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
