Abstract:
To provide a user interface device which presents stereo acoustics suppressing discontinuous feelings by enabling a user to smoothly recognize movements of a sound source position.SOLUTION: A stereo acoustic system 1 comprises: a plurality of loudspeakers 11-14 disposed around a reference point where a user is positioned; a plurality of vibrators 21-28 disposed in a plurality of directions in a view from the reference point; and a control unit 40 for controlling sonic waves output from the plurality of loudspeakers 11-14 and vibration of the plurality of vibrators 21-28. The plurality of vibrators 21-28 are disposed in such a manner that the vibrators are contactable to a body surface of the user positioned at the reference point. The control unit 40 identifies a sound source direction, in the view from the reference point of sonic waves output from the plurality of loudspeakers 11-14, selects a specific vibrator corresponding to the sound source direction from among the plurality of vibrators 21-28, and causes the specific vibrator to output vibration based on sonic waves to be output when outputting the sonic waves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
