Abstract:
To provide a puncture aid having a simple structure, facilitating work of puncturing a needle into a blood vessel, and capable of suppressing diagonally leftward/rightward movement of a blood vessel when puncturing the needle into the blood vessel having a lot of subcutaneous tissue and positioned deep from the skin.SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 15, an upper arm is placed on a desk, with a puncture aid 1 worn therearound, so that the puncture aid 1 is closely attached to a skin to increase pressing force B applied from the desk toward the upper arm 7 and pressure force E applied from the puncture aid 1 to subcutaneous tissue, a muscle 11, a blood vessel 12 and ultrasonic wave 9, and further a rubber band 18 is attached to the puncture aid to enhance the close contact between the upper arm and the puncture aid. Stress of the subcutaneous tissue, muscle and blood vessel 12 caused by diagonally leftward/rightward movement is suppressed by pressing force C generated when puncturing a needle 8 into the blood vessel 12, with the ultrasonic wave 9 applied thereto. The puncture aid 1 can thus reduce puncture and work loads of healthcare workers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
