Abstract:
To hold a torque limiter function in one rotation direction, and perform rotation operation of a medical instrument at rotation torque greater than a threshold of a torque limiter in the other rotation direction.SOLUTION: A torque transmission tool comprises: a columnar body for holding a medical instrument; and an outer cylinder covering a periphery of the columnar body. A recess is formed on a first member being one of the columnar body and the outer cylinder, and a salient engaged to the recess, is formed on a second member being the other. When the outer cylinder is rotated in a first rotation direction around a shaft of the outer cylinder, if rotation torque applied to the outer cylinder is equal to or lower than a threshold, an engagement state between the salient and the recess is maintained, and if the rotation torque applied to the outer cylinder exceeds the threshold, the engagement state is released, and when the outer cylinder is rotated around a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction, even if the rotation torque applied to the outer cylinder is greater than the threshold, the engagement state is maintained, in the torque transmission tool.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
